Esther doesn't suck at bowls

Last night Brad and Esther fought it out geriatric styles with groupings of AXAians (feel free to suggest another word for people who work at AXA). Together with the delightful Wendy "Crouching Tiger" Chern and the slightly up himself Phil "Doctor" Hibbert we were De Bandieten Van Het Gras!!

We didn't win. In fact we lost to The Crackheads. But the beer was moderately priced. Not amazingly cheap, but we probably saved a couple of bucks each.

We'll get you next year Crackheads!

Richmond gets some new residents

PJ Rocks Hamer Gently

Beautiful. If you want one word, i'll choose that.

Wearing the long white dress from the cover image of White Chalk, PJ was graceful and powerful at the same time.

Hamer Hall provided stunning acoustics for her piercing voice and gravelly guitar licks.

Sneakily stole the show at Sunday's Laneway Festival. Crazy manboy drummer (right front) wore his heart on his sweat drenched sleeve, emotions ranging from scared to ecstatic.

Last night girls really did just want to have fun. Middle aged women not so much, but hey I'm sure they appreciated the music too.

Yay: acoustic version of She Bop, Cyndi's Queens accent.

Nay: security guards asking us to stop dancing in the aisles.
